Miniature Flower Paintings

I moved to Carmel-by-the-Sea, California in 1993 after being hired by the City to direct the Outdoor Summer Art Festival. I moved into a sweet little cottage "Morning Glory" on Crespi. Anything grows in Carmel and every inch of the quaint seaside village is filled with beautiful blooms, meandering paths thru woods of twisted cypress and tall pines. There are modest cottages as well as breathtaking homes owned by America's Rich and Famous. Carmel is a special place where your spirit becomes alive to all that is precious.

I have many of these little flower studies. 4" x 5" canvas panels, all originals, painted either in acrylic or oil. I keep small canvases in my back-pack with water, paints and brushes. Often I stop and paint a flower if it's near my picnic basket. . . anywhere the spirit moves me to linger for awhile.

I will put some of these on the web site. You may purchase them direct for $49.00 each. They make sweet little gifts for yourself or one you love. Wonderful hostess and birthday gifts, too.
